Central govt employees will come to know about the 8th Central Pay Commission date of constitution in the year 2023 most probably.
Constitution of 8th Central pay Commission
The then Congress led UPA Government made announcement for constitution of 7th Pay Commission on 25th September 2013. So we expect the present Govt will announce constitution of 8th central Pay Commission in the year 2023.
Pay and Allowances of central Government employees need to be revised in every ten years. So their pay scale has to be revised with effect from 1.1.2026. Hence all are expecting that the present Government will appoint the 8th Pay Commission in 2023.
If 8th Pay Commission is constituted in right time, there will not be any delay to implement its recommendation beyond 1.1.2026 and no need to pay arrears.
